Saturday, September 21st, is National Sew A Jelly Roll Day.

Some fabric companies call 2.5 inch strips a Jelly Roll while others call them strips. The National Sew a Jelly Roll Day is the third Saturday of September every year.

Kaffe Mystery BOM Update

Sally and I know that examples of what to make with fabrics, sells more fabric. Going forward we are going to share our progress on some BOMs and kits.

First, a confession: I am behind on my BOMs (Block of the Month). I am disappointed in my progress thus far; however, I have made progress.

FreeSpirit is on Puzzle #4. Follow are pictures of Puzzle #1. By the way, this is a quilt that a beginner quilter can easily do.

The first picture is of cut fabric for Puzzle 1.

The second picture shows the strips sewn together.

The third picture is of 80 HST and 24 four patches.
